Michael Lary co-founded the Source Climbing Center in 2011 after 15 years of climbing and working in the outdoor industry. He has been an active Climbing Wall Association member since 2010 serving on the CWA’s Leadership Workshop Advisory Group, Summit Selection and Industry Standards Committees.  He has also volunteered as an access coordinator for the Carver Climbing Club.  When not working or volunteering in the community, Michael spends the rest of his time wrangling two young kids in between occasional visits to the local crags.

Gloria is as a life-long educator, advocating for access and inclusion in classrooms and beyond, . She found teaching while earning a BA in German and English (2001) and MA in German Studies (2009). She has not stopped since. She has led teaching teams in academia and her own enterprises since 2013. Currently, she serves as the Programs Director of Half Moon Bouldering, which she co-founded with Daniel Man in 2017. Throughout her career, Gloria has been fostering collaborations with people from all walks of life, and she is excited to continue that journey as a WICC board member.

Mattie is the Director of Instruction and Programming, Covid-19 Response Coordinator, and Office 365 Manager for Vertical World Inc. Her love for rock climbing was instantaneous in 1999 when she first stepped foot in Vertical World Seattle, knowing she wanted to climb for the rest of her life. In addition to her intrinsic passion for rock climbing, Mattie has set out to make the most in life through learning, exploring, and sharing quality time with others. Recently she has reinvested in her passion for cooking, continued to foster her foraging skills, and just finished building her own home from the ground up with her life partner and three cats.

Tod Bloxham is the owner of Edgeworks Climbing and Stone Gardens. Tod has been active in the outdoor industry since 1994 in various roles from retail, buying, product design, sales, and marketing. In 2004 he founded Edgeworks Climbing, a climbing gym with a focus on modern operations, marketing, climbing school and guiding and continual reinvestment in both facilities and employees. Tod’s focus within the climbing industry has included software, as the CEO and co-owner of Rock Gym Pro (until 2018), providing software and support to the majority of climbing gyms worldwide. When not working in or with climbing gyms, Tod is an IFMGA mountain guide, guiding and instructing and skiing, as well as chasing around the northwest with his wife and two daughters in pursuit of new adventures.

Justin began his routesetting and coaching journey in New England in 2008. Since then, his passion for climbing has evolved into a career dedicated to developing people, programs, and the routesetting profession. In addition to serving as Director of Routesetting & Team at Edgeworks Climbing, Justin is a Level 4 USA Climbing certified routesetter, Justin has built and developed routesetting teams across the country. In recent years, his work has focused on the professionalization of routesetting and the development of mentorship and education programs that help setters build sustainable, long-term careers in the industry. This work led to the formation of Vortex Routesetting, a consulting organization that, among other services, provides Work at Height and Professional Routesetting certifications to climbing gyms and universities nationwide.

As a contributing member of the Climbing Wall Association’s Routesetting and Work at Height Committees, Justin is committed to advancing the climbing industry through stronger routesetter education pathways, professional development opportunities, and the development of practical best practices and volunteer Work at Height standards.
